Responsibilities:l Fully responsible for new product pre-launch and launch strategy and new product launch execution.l Analyzes market data, including product specific sales, overall sales volume, demographics, and competitive product releases and pricing strategies for assigned product lines and recommends marketing objectives. Participates in the development and generation of marketing reports as they pertain to the product line.l Schedules meetings and travels to branches, hospitals and distributors to introduce or to follow up on promotion efforts and to exchange information with the sales force regarding basic product-related needs, end-user input, and the general market environment. Reviews and responds to formal complaints or suggestions regarding assigned product line.l Participates with cost accounting, marketing management, and other internal personnel in the development of pricing and cost recommendations. Participates in the development of sales forecasts for use in production planning, manufacturing operations and for controlling inventories.l Develops methods for evaluating merchandising programs to determine public acceptance. Evaluates the effectiveness of promotion and advertising programs, and recommends improvements or changes.l Participates in hospitals/customer or end-user presentations, and other similar events by presenting assigned product lines. Develops presentation scripts and materials and coordinates additional personnel in the presentation or demonstration.l Participates in the development and implementation of product demonstration, training programs, printed materials, and other projects. Evaluates the effectiveness of training and recommends improvements.l Responds to product-related informational requests from internal and external departments/personnel and serves as the primary contact for customer service issues pertaining to the product line. Assists other Product Managers with customer service requirements as needed.l Maintains currency with respect to technical product-related knowledge and general sales techniques and trends. Prepares summaries of important trends for management use.l Formulates and revises from time to time the Opinion Leaders List of the product line and visits them on a regular basis. Responsible for setting up Advisory Board meeting before new product launch. l Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:l Bachelor degree in Clinical Medicine or Pharmaceuticalsl Minimum of 5 years with least 2 years sales experience and 3 year marketing experience in sized multinational pharmaceutical company with least 1 year new product marketing experience. l Thorough knowledge of the companys markets and products.l Able to work under job stress and to travel to different places.l Strong interpersonal skills and good communication skills l Fluent English in listening, speaking and writing l Proactive, innovative and teamwork l Good PC skills on MS Office.
